Men’s Passion: What ranges of specialty treatments are available to customers with specific concerns?
Alaa Al Mousawi: We at Spa Aquatonic offer our customers a wide range of spa and healing treatments. Our therapeutical and rejuvenation massage treatments are based on traditional and ancient rituals. Our treatments range from well being like relaxing massage, Balinese massage, hot stone massage to well being treatments like slimming, rehabilitation, facial and Podology.
MP: Are there specialists for specific or complex treatments and equipments?
Alaa: Yes all our therapists are fully skilled and specialist degree holders. Spa is equipped with the latest state of art facilities to make all our treatments a success with our clients. Each treatment is handled by the specially qualified staffs who are experienced.
Our Spa stands out from all the other spas because of our Aquatonic Pool. We are the only spa in GCC having the Aquatonic Pool. Our 650 meter square pool comprises of 4 sections with 15 different zones. Each zone focuses on certain sections of body, be it to tone our body, to lose weight, treat body pains or just simply to relax and wash your stress away.
MP: Are you specialists certified? And, how do they maintain their certification and keep acquainted with the latest beauty methods and treatments as well as the latest in technological equipment?
Alaa: Yes our therapists are certified degree holders and well trained.
We maintain our excellence in work by conducting constant training and interactive sessions. Spa Aquatonic follows the standards and products of Les Thermes Marins De Saint Malo (TMSM).Specialist trainers from TMSM come to our spa twice a year to conduct one-to-one training sessions for our therapists to help them refresh their knowledge as well as to teach them the latest techniques in massage and technology. Our latest attraction is Ultratone device, the ultimate guide to slimming. We have a very good response for the same.
MP: Where does your equipment come from?
Alaa: Our equipments are from our mother company TMSM and procedures of the treatments are taken from them. We also use Ultratone device bought from UK. Our other major equipment is Hydrotherapy machine and Cellu M6.
MP: Who designed the interior concept of the Spa?
Alaa: The spa was designed by designer Georgia Fell-Smith from P49 Designs, Thailand’s foremost interior design practitioners along with local company, Interior Collaborators. Prominent Thai concepts with contemporary Arabic designs are literally visible when you enter the spa. This breath taking interiors of the Spa makes our spa the most beautiful in the Middle East.
MP: Does the Spa Aquatonic offer client consultation before and after treatment?
Alaa: Yes we offer consultation to our clients both before and after treatments. Face to face interaction is must with the clients to let us know their feedback about the treatments, the therapists and most important about how they feel after each session.
All the slimming and rehabilitation programs end with feedback from the guest.
MP: Which treatment is the most popular amongst clientale?
Alaa: Well being treatments like Relaxing massage, Balinese massage, Swedish massage, Foot reflexology Traditional Thai Massage, Back neck and shoulder Massage are the most popular treatments. In addition to the above, weight loss, post natal programs and packages are vastly asked by our guests.
MP: What are the types of products you use and where do they come from?
Alaa: All our products are from TMSM and they are French products.
These products are used for well being treatments and healing treatments. Facial and Podology treatments also are bought and used from TMSM.
