Parmigiani Premieres Qr 1.26 Million Bugatti Type 370 Watch At Doha Watch Festival
World renowned creators of exquisite Swiss watches, Parmigiani Fleurier, are giving watch connoisseurs from the Middle East a rare and unique opportunity to become owners of their Limited Edition Bugatti Type 370 watch in white gold and diamonds with a ten-day power reserve.
The master Swiss watchmakers are premiering the exquisitely crafted masterpiece, at the upcoming Doha Watch and Jewellery Fair in Qatar on the Al Majed Group Stand at the Fair and subsequently at their outlet in Doha.
Priced at around QR 1.26 million (US$349,838), the Type 370 watch in white gold and diamonds with ten-day power reserve is an exquisite creation of which only six pieces have been created so far.
Inspired by automobile technology, the Bugatti model with transverse movement by Parmigiani Fleurier asserts its exceptional aesthetics by arranging its constituent parts like an engine block on the wrist, along a horizontal rather than a vertical axis. For the first time, the Bugatti Type 370 wristwatch incorporates a movement spread between five plates, held by cross-arms. As if in a cross-section, their well-spaced alignment enables one to observe the movement in operation, with its gears and its extraordinarily elaborate technical features. The masterpiece comes with an 18-carat white gold case encrusted with 130 brilliant-cut diamonds and a white mother of pearl dial. The Type 370 comes with a Hermes calfskin strap with an 18-carat white gold Ardillon buckle or a Hermes black alligator leather strap.
